Born and raised in Gallup, New Mexico, renowned designer and founder David Rosales has spent his life immersed in the rich cultural heritage and artistic traditions of the Southwest.

His journey in the jewelry industry began in 1984, where he developed a deep appreciation for the intricate craftsmanship and artistry of Native American jewelry. With a creative vision and a desire to bring something truly unique to the industry, David partnered with his cousin, John Delgado, to establish Supersmith Inc. in 1997.

Together, they built a company founded on quality, creativity, and a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship. David's distinctive approach to design—combining unexpected colors, carefully selected stones, and intricate inlay techniques—quickly became a signature of the Supersmith Collection.

A Family Legacy. A New Generation.

In 2016, David's daughter, Sheree, returned to Gallup with her family and joined the Supersmith team. Having grown up surrounded by the business, she developed an appreciation for the artistry, dedication, and craftsmanship behind every piece.

Today, David and Sheree work side by side, blending decades of experience with fresh ideas and a shared passion for design. Together, they continue to explore new materials, create distinctive color combinations, and introduce innovative collections that honor the company's heritage while embracing its future.

Their vision is simple: to create jewelry that is as unique and extraordinary as the individuals who wear it.
